Taxes Are Over!

Tax season is always hard but jim is so great to me when its over. He always sends flowers to my work on the 15th.But this year he mad it extra special and we both took the 16th off work and spent the day together. We went to breakfast at the sugar shack. (which is the place that started our whole relationship.)Then we walked around the beach and he took me on a shopping spree to one of my favorite stores. Then we came home took an afternoon nap. Went to dinner and then a movie. It was a perfect day.

Oh Bella

Bella used to be my dog…Till my mum stole her! How cute is this little girl going to be in her new home and back yard. She is just going to love it so much. Isn’t that right Dianne. Unless you pay me for my half of her you don’t get her.

More Easter

It was really weird, we woke up Easter morning and Jim had a wonderful basket. But apperently the Easter bunny didn't get my new address, so i didn't one. Sad huh JIM!

On Easter Sunday we all went to my Aunt and Uncles house. it was so fun to have a ton of family there.

Easter

I love holidays. Any reason to celebrate and bake I’m in. At work we celebrated EastOver. ( Easter and Passover) I made this cake using peeps and chocolate chips to make it look like a sunflower. I have to say I was very impressed with myself. Jim was such a good sport and was very into decorating eggs this year. Last year we never got the chance to do it and I was very upset. So this year we made a huge effort and it was adorable watching Jim being so careful.

Again my dad and husband have spent some time bonding. I love it. This time for something much more exciting then glasses. And much more useful to me and my little apartment. A surf rack! Finally we can move all 6 yes 6 surf boards out to the garage. Jim came up with the design and then he and my dad spent an afternoon building it. I just loved how they got to do something together that they both would enjoy. And now I can actually have a second bedroom.

fixing things

A few Sundays ago Jim and I went to my parents house for dinner. But when we showed up my dad was trying to fix his glasses. Well since his glasses were broken he couldn’t see what he was doing. Jim got involed and they both were sitting there forever trying to fit this tiny little thing into his glasses. It was hilarious, they were so focused.

A couple weeks ago I had a chance to go out with the girls and it was so fun. It had been awhile since we all got together. We went to dinner and just sat and talked forever. I loved it and I love my girls. So that’s one good thing that came out of tax season.

Jims Basketball

ok im back tracking a bit to get caught up.

So before tax season started Jim played in a basketball league with some of his co-workers and friends. He loved it so much and had a great time playing. Each week we would go…Yes being the amazing wife that I am I went to cheer on my hubby. Can I add that I was the only one EVER to go cheer for their team. Anyways I was so proud of my baby I had to put up these pictures! Go Windes and McClaughry! I know next season they need a better team name.
